Peri Bradley is employed as the Research Assistant for the 1970s Project.

She is a Part Time Lecturer in Film and TV Studies at University of Southampton and Southampton Solent University, where she teaches a diverse range of unit subjects. She is at present in the 3rd year of her PhD at University of Southampton,, her thesis and specialism being the Transforming Body as Spectacle in a cultural and sociological context.

She is running a Seminar Series titled The Transforming Body at University of Southampton with Professor Linda Ruth Williams, from which an edited book is scheduled for 2009. She also has a chapter in the edited book Monsters and The Monstrous due out at the end of 2007 and is to be included in the 1970s Film edited collection that has resulted from the Exeter ' Don't Look Now' Conference, planned for 2009.

Her role within the project is to perform general research and admin (eg; relevant material from the Sight & Sound magazines from the decade has been collated into an accessible hard copy format and e-version) and to perform in-depth research concerning the Body and Transforming Body, in order to produce a chapter for the planned publication associated with the project. She is also working closely with Professor Harper organising the 1970s Culture Conference taking place at University of Portsmouth 1st, 2nd and 3rd July 2008.
