Graeme Harper

Graeme Harper is Professor and Director of the new National Institute for Excellence in the Creative Industries, based at Bangor University, UK.
His recent publications include: "The Unsilvered Screen: Cinema and Surrealism", (Wallflower, 2007), edited with R.Stone, "eMobility and the New Cinema of Complexity" in Journal of Contemporary European Studies, Vol.15, Issue 1, 2007, and the forthcoming "Cinema and Landscape" (Wayne State University Press, 2008), edited with Jonathan Rayner. He also publishes in the field of Creative Writing.
His work in "British Cinema in the 1970s" is focussing on the role of domestication, and technologies of media domestication, in influencing '70s British film style and content, and on the work of David Puttnam within the historical context of European creative entrepreneurship.
