Throughout his career Dave's main focus has been on pedagogical research and practice - particularly in the broad field of the visual arts. Currently he is in receipt of a National Teaching Fellowship Award (HEA).
On SCAFM's 1970s Project his two special areas are avant-garde and experimental film & video and popular music in British film.
